1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Welcome to BeatLam (“BeatLam”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a digital audio marketplace operating in the Republic of South Africa. By accessing or using our website, purchasing beat licenses or sound kits, registering as a producer, or utilizing any platform service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our related policies.
2. USER ACCOUNTS & SECURITY
Users must provide accurate, complete registration details. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify BeatLam of any unauthorized account access.
3. MARKETPLACE TRANSACTIONS & PAYSTACK PAYMENTS
All purchases on BeatLam are settled in South African Rand (ZAR) via authorized Paystack payment gateways. By submitting an order, you authorize the charge for the specified license tier or digital product.
BeatLam employs split-payment architecture ensuring approved producers receive their earned commission allocations directly to their verified South African bank accounts.
4. PRODUCER OBLIGATIONS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Producers publishing beats and sound kits warrant that:
- They are the sole original creator and owner of all musical works uploaded, or hold explicit commercial clearances for all incorporated samples.
- No uploaded audio infringes upon the copyright, trademark, or rights of any third party.
- They will not submit non-exclusive beats into automated YouTube Content ID or audio fingerprinting databases.
5. DIGITAL DELIVERY & LICENSE DOCUMENTS
Digital files (WAV, MP3, STEMS) and official PDF license agreements are provisioned electronically to the buyer's Customer Vault immediately upon verified payment settlement.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & GOVERNING LAW
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, BeatLam shall not be liable for indirect, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the marketplace. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
